Animal Assistance
Fund was founded in July of 2000 by Nancy Timmers.
AAF is a not-for-profit
public charity that was formed specifically to assist no-kill animal
shelters with their financial obligations.
We are an ALL-volunteer
organization and have no salaried employees. AAF relies mainly on
donations and some Shop & Share events to raise money. All contributions
go directly to pay vendor bills such as veterinary bills, food,
cleaning supplies and shelter equipment. No money is given directly
to the shelters.
AAF
is a 501 (c) 3 charitable organization. Contributions are tax-deductible
to the extent of permitted by law.
